Do YuWie?

One of the main things I’m asked about YuWie is ..

is YuWie a scam?

Well, the short answer is – I don’t know. YuWie is new. In fact, it’s still in Beta – or prelaunch. There are pros and cons to joining YuWie at this time.

The pros:

- Ground floor. If you can get your referral tree going, you can do very well. Since a lot of people haven’t heard of it yet, you have strong referral potential.
- No business profiles – which should cut down on the spam.

The cons:

- It’s Beta. Which means the site can be buggy at some times. Usually from slow server issues. I think they are growing faster than anticipated. You, as the user, are “testing” the site for them during this period.

The concept for YuWie is both traditional and unique. Online communities are literally a dime a dozen these days. However, communities that offer to give you – the user – a slice of the advertising pie are unique. Can you imagine getting even a small slice of MySpace’s revenue?

If it works, it will be fantastic!
